Madisons, on behalf of our client, are looking to recruit n enthusiastic and hard working and ambitious Trainee Estimator to join a busy office based in Ipswich.

Responsibilities:

• Produce & Price tenders for the road surfacing division following inquiries based on drawings and specifications. This may include Site visits.
• Produce and present Cost Reports
• Effective control of all contract packages including the provision of timely and accurate documentation.
• Ensuring that estimating information and cost advice are provided in an accurate and proficient manner.
• Review designs in line with budgets.
• Liaising with site personnel to obtain site records and reconciling against works claimed.
• Keeping records and all documentation in line with company policies.

Requirements: * Knowledge of surfacing/tarmacking is preferable

• Good use of Excel/Word
• Enthusiastic and willing to learn and progress Qualifications
• GCSE’s / A Level / Degree
• Training will be provided and the scope for training and qualifications to be paid for and supported by the client.
